This jar was difficult to photograph: I was trying to get the writing in focus but it just kept focusing on the thread – one of those moments where a point and press camera with autofocus just doesn’t cut it. In case you can’t work it out, this jar is filled with black thread that is holding the handwritten note in place. The note says, ‘what did you think was going to happen?’
